The Temple for Christchurch by Hippathy Valentine and the Temple for Christchurch Trust.
The Temple for Christchurch was a 50m long, 25m wide and 6.3m sclupture that was designed using the readings of the seismic drums closest to the epicentre of the February 22nd earthquake. It was clad with thinly cut timber reclaimed from buildings demolished due to the quake. It was built with blank walls and members of the Christchurch community were invited to write their earthquake experiences upon it's walls which were then burned as a form of cathartic release.
